Roll-Off Containers For Homeowners

Are you doing some spring cleaning and have a lot more waste than you thought you did? You might want to rent a roll-off container. A roll-off container is the same thing as a dumpster. It is a great thing to have around during times when you have a lot to get rid of. Get more information about Collinsville  dumpster rentals

Roll-off containers are usually not OK to leave on the street unless you have a permit, or there are no "No Parking" signs. You should definitely check with your town hall before just going ahead and putting it somewhere other than your own property.

Just because you might have to put it on your driveway doesn't mean it is going to get ruined. The wheels are smaller but it is most likely not going to be heavier than a car so your driveway should be fine. Just to be sure though, you might want to put a protective plywood sheet down first to make sure there is even pressure being applied to your driveway. This will help you because the rental services or people you bought the dumpster from are usually not liable for any damage caused by the piece of equipment.

You are going to need a mildly large space to have your dumpster lay on because a garbage truck is going to have to come and pick it up from a good angle. You can ask the people you are buying from or renting from to see a chart that will explain how much space you need before deciding on a permanent spot.

Concrete and dirt are very heavy. Too much of those materials can exceed the weight limits for driving on the streets. They also are a big risk for traffic. It will be harder to control the vehicle driving the debris away. You will want to ask the rules from the person or company you got it from before just hauling stuff into it and letting it go.

It is important to remember that while this is a dumpster, all materials are not OK to put into it just because it works within the weight limit. Hazardous waste is not OK because it will be going into a landfill where it will pollute the environment. Hazardous waste needs to go elsewhere and be disposed of properly. This means industrial waste, herbicides, pesticides, radioactive material and chemical products are not permitted either. Paint is not OK to put into the container because it is going to dry and stay in there. The same goes for other liquids.

There is a lot to remember before using your roll-off container. You just have to make sure everything is clear and all questions are answered before you start taking action.
